"It's always a party when TWIGSTREET is playing! - We love these guys!"
MARIO – Lead Singer
Mario – For the last 12 years I have been the singer/front man for various bands, such as tribute bands for The Ramones and Creedence Clearwater Revival. I have performed every type of music, from hard rock to pop, in a variety of settings. My experience includes performing at the Orange County Fair and at the Woodstock Celebration in Arizona. I have also performed at many local clubs and at over 20 concerts for people with special needs, including the Easter seals Annual Banquet. My goal is to put on a dynamic show, so I focus on interacting with the crowd and encouraging them to be involved in the music.
TONY – Lead Guitar
Tony – The lead guitarist in the band. I grew up in California and started playing guitar in High School. A retired car mechanic, when I’m not helping out friends and family with their car issues, I’m using my garage for band practice. I love guitars and amps and am always looking for new acquisitions!
JAY – Bass Player
Jay- bass player. I’m from Trabuco Canyon and have lived in the OC all my life. I started playing guitar 39 years ago, back then, Classical guitar was a passion, and I was very fond of learning and playing music from the Baroque period. But I eventually met the fate of most bass players, that is… I became a convert from guitar playing to bass playing. The mere thought of playing the important role as the bass player, as the “backbone” of the band, yet being so subtle and somewhat invisible blows my mind. The audience feels the bass, they groove to the bass without them actually knowing it. This is the very thing that attracted me to this amazing instrument!!
